Justice for Trayvon Martin and his family

We must pray for our country and  goverment. when someone can kill another human and is not found guilty something is wrong and must be corrected. Zimmerman had no right to follow Trayvon if he was suspicious of his activity he should have allowed the police to do their job and not take matters into his own hands.

Ecclesiastes 12:1-14 The span of life

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw near, when you shall say I have no pleasure in them. While the sun, or the light or the moon or the stars, be not darkened nor the clouds return after the rain. In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened, And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of music shall be brought low. Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail. because man go to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets. Or ever the silver cord be lossed, or the golden bowl be broken or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern, Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God who gave it. Vanity of vanities, say the preacher, all is vanity.

The whole duty of man

And moreover because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge, yes he gave good heed, and sought out and set in order many proverbs. The preacher sought to find out acceptable words, and that which was written was upright, even words of truth. The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd. And further, by these , my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God. and keep his commandments: for this is the  whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing whether it be good or whether it be evil.

Titus 2:1-15 Christian doctrine and conduct.

But speak you the things which become sound doctrine: That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things, That they may teach the young women to be sober to love their husbands, to love their children. To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. In all things, showing yourselves a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity. Sound speech, that cannot be condemed, that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. Exhort servants to be obedient to their own masters, and to please them well in all things, not answering again. Not purloining, but showing all good fidelity: that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. For the grace of God that bring salvation have appeared to all men. Teaching us that , denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly, in this present world. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort and rebuke with all authority, Let no man despise you

Titus 3:1-11 Faith and works

Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work. To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness to all men. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared.. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour. That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that you affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works, these things are good and profitable to men. But avoid foolish questions, an geneologies, and contentions, and striving about the law, for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject. Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sin being condemned of himself.

2nd Timothy 4:1-8 Charge to preach sound doctrine

I Charge you therefore before God: and the Lord Jesus Christ. who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom: Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine: but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves, teachers, having itching ears: And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned into fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry. For I am now ready to be offered; and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous judge, shall give me at that day and not to me only but to all them also that love his appearing.

2nd Timothy 2: 1-13 Perseverance in Christ

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus and the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same comit you to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. You therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that go to war involve himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who have chosen him to be a solider. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. The husbandman that labour must be first partaker of the fruits. Consider what I say, and the Lord give you understanding in all things. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel. Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evildoer, even to bonds, but the word of God is not bound. Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying: for if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him. If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: If we deny him , he also will deny us. If we believe not, yet he abide faithful; he cannot deny himself.

Know the Word of God and avoid arguments

Of these things put them in rememberance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew yourself approved to God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain bablings: for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their word will eat as do a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus: Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already, and overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless  the foundation of God stand sure, having this seal, the Lord Know them that are his. And, Lest every one that name the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house  there are not only  vessels of  gold and silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel to honor  sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared to every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive, but be gentle to all men, apt to teach, patient. In meekness instruction those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging  of the truth. And that they may recover themselves, out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
